Your mission
  • You develop the architecture of our Photonic control system with its embedded electronics, as well as the RTL for real-time control and the embedded software
  • You lead and supervise the technical implementation at our development partners and ensure the integration with our photonic integrated circuits
  • You organize the verification and validation of the quantum control system
  • You integrate external suppliers
  • You mediate between the worlds of electronics, RTL and embedded software

Your profile
  • Completed studies (Master) in electrical engineering/electronics, specialization information technology
  • You already have several years of professional experience with embedded systems or processor cores
  • You understand the basics of development and industrialization of electronic systems with FPGAs and embedded software
  • You always have the overall system in mind and master the complexity of embedded systems
  • You are dedicated, strong in implementation and focus on details when needed
  • You have an analytical and structured way of thinking
  • You are resilient and love to face new challenges
  • You are an absolute team player and can mediate between worlds
  • Business fluent English

Who we are and what we do

Q.ANT is a high-tech startup driving and industrialising photonic quantum technology, pushing the borders to new fields of application and processes. The company was founded in 2018 and is part of the TRUMPF Group. Q.ANT develops quantum sensors and photonic chips and processors for quantum computing based on its Quantum Photonic Framework. Focusing on its four product lines of Photonic Computing, Particle Metrology, Atomic Gyroscopes and Magnetic Sensing, the company engages with a broad array of industries and applications ranging all the way from medical technology and autonomous vehicles to aerospace, machinery, and the process industry. Q.ANT employs more than 90 people at its site in Stuttgart/Southern Germany.
