Q.ANT is building photonic processing systems that compute with light – delivering a scalable, energy-efficient alternative to transistor-based architectures for next-generation AI and HPC applications.

As our Performance & People Business Specialist (m/f/d), you are the central force for People Performance and the strategic guidance of our leadership team and organization. You are the initiator who designs and drives all relevant People topics with foresight. 
 
Your Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Talent Alignment: You translate the operational business strategy into a forward-looking personnel allocation strategy to optimally align our people resources with the company goals.
  • Stakeholder Integration: You act as a strategic business partner and central interface, collaborating closely with the Business Units, Organizational Development, and Talent Acquisition to ensure a unified approach.
  • Framework Conceptualization: By aligning the People strategy with organizational and business needs, you conceptualize and establish these targeted frameworks, ensuring employees find the right learning paths and proactively driving the effective implementation of all measures in an evolving and agile business environment.
  • Talent Pipeline Management: You drive succession management and talent identification within the company through high-impact formats and events. By setting up and executing programs like Talent Conventions, you proactively prepare the organization for future leadership transitions.
  • Acquisition Strategy: In close coordination with the Talent Acquisition team, you define the hiring strategy and ensure a first-class Candidate Journey.
  • Market Intelligence: You analyze relevant HR market developments and trends to derive innovative and future-oriented concepts for our organization.
Your profile
  • Generalist Expertise (High Performance): You act as a People Generalist with a clear perspective on High Performance and actively contribute to increasing organizational and employee performance.
  • Experience and Expertise: You bring several years of professional experience in a comparable role, ideally in an agile and dynamic environment.
  • Stance and Persuasiveness: You confidently and resolutely advocate for solutions and strategies that are in the best interest of the organization.
  • Precision and Agility: You act with acumen and agility, quickly grasp situations, find creative yet pragmatic solutions.
  • Leadership & Coaching: You have the ability to proactively develop solutions with the business units, guide leaders, and drive topics forward independently.
  • Communication Skills: You possess excellent communication and negotiation skills in German and English.

Q.ANT is a deep-tech scale-up developing photonic processing solutions that compute natively with light and deliver a scalable alternative to transistor-based systems. The analog co-processors are optimised for complex computations and enable energy-efficient performance for next-generation AI and HPC applications. In collaboration with the Institute for Microelectronics Stuttgart IMS CHIPS, Q.ANT operates its own pilot line for photonic chips, based on the material system Thin-Film Lithium Niobate TFLN. Q.ANT was founded by Michael Förtsch in 2018 and is headquartered in Stuttgart, Germany.
