Your mission
The future of AI computing is light, not electrons. Q.ANT is building photonic processing systems that compute with light – delivering a scalable, energy-efficient alternative to transistor-based architectures for next-generation AI and HPC applications. 

As Executive Assistant to the CEO (f/m/d), you are the strategic force multiplier who ensures the CEO’s impact is maximized across all domains. You will sit at the intersection of breakthrough science, global investment, and high-level politics,. This role is about providing maximum executive leverage by taking ownership of investor relations workflows and strategic communications. Your ability to navigate complex stakeholder landscapes will ensure that Q.ANT’s technological leadership is translated into market power and sustainable investor confidence. 


Your Responsibilities:


  • Executive Leverage & Meeting Mastery: Strategically prepare the CEO for complex meetings to ensure technical fluency and eloquence, acting as a force multiplier who meticulously ensures the CEO's focus remains concentrated on the highest-leverage activities.
  • Reporting Architecture: Own and orchestrate company-wide reporting; replacing legacy update formats with a streamlined, centralized CEO Office communication flow to ensure organizational alignment.
  • High-Stakes Representation & Presence: Represent the CEO and the company seamlessly in high-powered environments, including political forums, industry conferences, and advisory boards, where executive presence and judgment are paramount.
  • Complex Stakeholder Translation: Articulate and translate cutting-edge photonic computing concepts into high-impact presentations and communications for diverse non-technical audiences, such as policymakers, investors, and C-suite leaders.
  • Strategic Impact Management: Manage a complex executive calendar by strategically prioritizing engagements and coordinating across all functional teams to maximize the CEO’s systemic reach and operational impact.
  • Rapid Strategic Execution: Develop and craft sophisticated materials for government officials and global advisory boards, demonstrating exceptional effectiveness and precision even under extreme pressure or tight deadlines.
Your profile

  • Analytical Rigor: Possess analytical rigor and strategic thinking.
  • Technical Foundation: A technical background in physics, engineering, computer science, or deep tech is a valuable asset.
  • Resilience & Speed: Demonstrate exceptional effectiveness under pressure, treating the handling of overnight deliverables as a standard operating procedure.
  • Stakeholder Navigation: Proven ability to quickly read and navigate complex stakeholder landscapes while operating effectively at the most senior executive and political levels.
  • Global Mindset: Exhibit a sophisticated and nuanced understanding of global executive and political environments.
  • Communication Excellence: Exceptional, flawless written and verbal communication skills are required in both German and English.

Q.ANT is a deep-tech scale-up developing photonic processing solutions that compute natively with light and deliver a scalable alternative to transistor-based systems. The analog co-processors are optimised for complex computations and enable energy-efficient performance for next-generation AI and HPC applications. In collaboration with the Institute for Microelectronics Stuttgart IMS CHIPS, Q.ANT operates its own pilot line for photonic chips, based on the material system Thin-Film Lithium Niobate TFLN. Q.ANT was founded by Michael Förtsch in 2018 and is headquartered in Stuttgart, Germany.
