As (Junior) IT Support Specialist, you are the first point of contact for all IT questions and requests at Q.ANT. You resolve day-to-day hardware and software issues, set up workstations, and make sure every new team member hits the ground running from day one. You work closely with the IT team, escalate where needed, and grow into broader IT responsibilities as the company scales.
What You Will Do
- Be the go-to person for first-level IT support – troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues for our engineers, physicists, and AI specialists, and resolve them efficiently
- Set up and configure laptops, monitors, and peripherals for new and existing team members – ensuring everyone has the tools they need from day one
- Support onboarding and offboarding processes by preparing and decommissioning IT equipment and user accounts
- Document all support requests accurately in the ticketing system and follow through until resolution or escalation
- Escalate complex issues to senior IT staff with full context and relevant information already gathered – you'll be a bridge, not just a handoff
- Coordinate with external IT vendors and service providers in close alignment with the IT team
